Part of the continued research into an Exodus of Black people migrating en masse from San Francisco into Victoria, British Columbia, on the 17th of April 1858.While thinking about the pursuit of promise and Black permanence. “Diasporic Departure”, one’s historical presence is constantly being eroded, but then also being rebuilt and redefined.
